The Systematic Approach

Vino Diary uses the Diploma Level WSET Systematic Approach when recording tasting information.  This detailed system analyzes a wine for it’s components and attributes through Appearance, Nose, Palate and Final Conclusion.  Each of these fields contain specific terms that are used to construct a complete analysis.   I feel this is a bias free technique of deconstructing  a wine for what it is.  I also use this system to better educate myself on how to identify wines in blind tasting exercises.

Enjoy Tasting,
